Greetings Family!
Plans for the Guy-Burgess Family Reunion 2011 are underway and we are super excited about all of the festivities! This year, our theme is "Staying Connected". Year after year we come together to celebrate each other and all that God has done for us! This year won't be any different. Make plans to be in Raleigh, North Carolina on June 24 - 26, 2011. Our host hotel is The Embassy Suites Crabtree! Every morning you will wake up to a fabulous cooked to order breakfast! Eggs, bacon, sausage, omelets, fruit, cereals, waffles, pancakes, coffee, juice and the list goes on and on! Sound good? We think so!
Let us share with you the plans for the weekend! On Friday, we will have registration beginning at 6:00 pm. You will pick up your packets and souvenirs at that time. Enjoy the hotel atrium and Manager's Reception from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm. The Manager's Reception provides free drinks and h'orderves for all hotel guests.
On Saturday, we will have a family meeting after breakfast and then you are free to shop, rest, swim...,or you can join us for an exciting game of Bowling!!!! After the game, you have free time to enjoy one another and the hotel amenities. The banquet will begin at 6:00 pm at the Ezra Center. We will dine together and have some family entertainment for you. For those of you interested in showing your talent, please let us know, no later than May 31, 2011. We look forward to showcasing you at this year's Family Reunion!
On Sunday, immediately following check-out, we will have a service at "The Park". So, after breakfast and checking out, make your way to our Family Praise & Worship Service. The service will be from 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm. We will receive a message from the Lord from one of the ministers in the family and we will praise & worship our Lord together.
As always, the success of any reunion has much to do with the participation. We encourage you to come and celebrate with us this year. The cost for this year's reunion is as follows:
Ages 0-12 - Free
Ages 13-20- $25.00
Ages 21+ - $50.00
